Dear Mr Vice President Vance,
sorry to be rude, but also I have to go to bed once in a while, as at the moment, I cannot do 24/7, although I would like to jump in for you, as it seems, you have not prepared yourself or having been briefed profoundly and adequately enough by your team to judge the freedom of press in Germany, but I am also simply just a human, having to rest once in a while for a little time out.
But you know me, always ready to do an additional overdue hour to give missing infos to assist to have a decent base of knowledge for an old guys‘ chimney discussion, always willing to jump in as an interdisciplinary teacher, disicpline and subject your choice, ready to go in a fair but also tough discussion, as someone has to jump in, so, whenever you are ready, I am ready for a discussion, challenge accepted?
So maybe, the the position regarding freedom of press for Germany went down to position 11, but sorry for forcing me to have to be so harsh, we still can compete here quite well compared with a mediocre 57th position.
Ok, in the Eurovision Song Contest, sometimes we are quite low in the voting list, but regarding freedom of press, which is by the way written down in the the 5th article of our „Grundgesetz“ – the decent name for our still state-of-the-art constitution, having been written on a little island on the initiative of the Western allies also having liberated many of us, in a lake in the South of Germany after having learnt our lessons – within the first articles, called „Grundrechte“, canot be changed due to the eternity clause- sorry, for forcing me to be so harsh this time and yes, we are a defensive democracy, set in our constitution after what we had to go through in our own history, which I am our constitutional mothers and fathers grateful for.
And yes, I must say, the „world wide web“ was a great idea of sharing information worldwide for free over borders, but unfortunately, it was soon been taken over by private companies, not moderating anymore tasteless content anymore, also of questionable „profiles“ and trolls, being to whimpy to show their face putting out their ugly and sometimes criminal content, them, going greadily for the additional sleazy dime for another add with their algorithms, which have not have to be made accessible for governments, public instituitions and the EU, keeping showing additional hateful, nasty and probably also criminal content to the users, no matter what.
And by the way, many times, these ads are not really meeting the customer requests, as long as their customers pay enough, marketing money, which is simply lost and annoying customers, the good ones and the nasty ones – just by the way – our complete profiles, by which we shared with these companies should have quite some money and them I am asking myself, why they keep posting me, how I can make out of thousand hundred Euros, no,two hundred thousand, even better, a million Euros, me, already raising a huge tent in my pyjamas in bed, watching them – not the target group, sorry to say, key customers not really selected well, sorry these ads only are only anoying, too many and yes, we already paid quite well with our customer profile data, we shared by having had to choose between anddroid and iOS.
So, as here the EU, our governments were too slow to react here accordingly to set certain legal restrictions, when hate speech or illegal content posted is not having been taken care of by these companies within social media here in Euro, then I am sorry to say, but here we will have to interfere and set certain limits to companies not taking anymore care and responsibility of their powerful powerful social media channels, which are misused around the globe and which has lately even more separated societies arount the globe.
So, before you judge the freedom of press in Germany, in the EU, ok, in Hungary or other countries we could talk about, as I am also in sorrow here, please let’s get into a fair discussion, as former allies, over decades, always here with open arms, when you are also willing to reach out your hand.
So, sorry, I have to go to bed now, not giving in fighting for international understanding and democracy, as said, waiting here for you for a fair, distinguished discussion.

PS: and yes, turnover should finally also for international social media companies be taxed in the markets, they have been generated, at least with a minimum tax of 25%, me having never complaint about the worst tax class in Germany as a single gay guy, as I could go to school, university for free and my health care was covered by my health care, always friendly, relaxed and always willing to help others, having to file criminal complaints nowadays here in Europe, against people from abroad and within Germany, honestely?
PPS: and perhaps you could also reach out for google and facebook, as I still struggle with them getting my content back, where we are entitled to get it back as customers within the EU, them making it as difficult as possible, me not wanting to buy an additional TB, I do not need right now as a loyal customer having paid already for years for 100 GB perfectly fine until now.
