We will be able to sell still oversized SUVs, with engines, burning fossil fuels for a certain time, state of the art technology grace to good old Mr Daimler and Benz, in the 19th century, as cash cows, but we will have to be more innovative here and visionary and then the export rate will go up again also internationally, if we don’t want to loose this momentum again, if we have not lost it alrady due to profit-maximizing, short-oriented technology transfer to Asian markets with minority joint-ventures, good for the next one or two decades for additional sales and the own promotion to the next management level, on a long-term, a little bit short-sighted, us now having amongst other issues also struggling economically, now having to compete with a powerful market with an, let’s say euphamistically “autocratic” pseudo-communiste or socialiste goverment, the toughest turbo capitalism, I would say, we have here on the globe, them giving a fucking shit, supporting a dictator having attacked a souvereign neighbour state, as long as the Rubel is rolling, ok, better Dollars or Euros, but their products are competitive and we have to get here more innovative again, we have well trained engineers, technicians and experts from other disciplines, being able to create new competitive products to compete again more successfully also on international markets, although it might be really hard for upper management and politicians to admit, that some of their visionary business decisions might have led into the wrong directions, also not having talked to the operational blue collar workers within the company for several decades, in good as in bad times, them not scared of speaking out their expertise over all these years in the interest of the company in total and their colleagues, of which they have often not gotten their feedback, as it might have not been sold to be sold so easily to the CEO or diverse politicians.

And yes, I do not know, when you biked last time next to bigger streets or next to urban city motorways in the North of Munich, when you wait as a pedestrian or biker, much more on a weekend than cars on these roads, to be able to cross two traffic lights, it takes about as much time as going around 10 km by bike on the country side, ok, perhaps a little bit exagerated.
So, I do not like to be the party pooper of the nation, but I simply care about the jobs in our automobile industry and also about the health in urban agglomerations of all of us.
So, I invite you to join me on my next bike trip, around 30 km, healthy, especially with your sausage-focused diet, our Grandparents having been Flexitarians, already back then, as little Farmers, in the Bavarian Alps, healthier, I think, but what do I know, as I simply care and biking would be good once Ina while for both of us, around two hours and then I will show you, what it smells without a HEPA filter installed, what it smells like for pedestrians and bikers, and yes, sorry to say, even as a chain smoker with COPD Gold 4 B status, I still can smell every Diesel even 10 meters before he stops at the traffic light, as tough as it might sound and as much as we would pee into the fuel tank, me having to do the lip brake. as nasty and disturbing it might look for others around waiting at the traffic light, waiting for ten minutes to be able to cross two times to be able drive on the correct biking path.
And yes, many people are biking in Munich or other towns, healthy, sustainable, cheaper, with right infrastructure faster and please recheck the budgeting for creating finally an adequate biking road network nationwide, as I think, 400.000 € on a country level won’t be sufficient out of the 500 billions for infrastructure improvements, which we took as debts.
And one last good advice, please put on polstered biker undies under your trousers, I forgot, but it can get on bike lanes and on streets in living areas in Munich quite bumpy – even tough I like it sometimes a little harder, this was too rough even for me.
So nothing for ungood, looking for our next bike tour and as I saw, the IAA is built up right now, I am also interested, what will be presented from exhibiting companies around the globe and what we can learn from it, on both sides.
