Saw the little lemon trees sitting there on a pallet welting, bought a bottle of mineral water to water them and finally got at least one, 5 Euros off, trying to save it.

Was a challenge to bring it up to the fourth floor without elevator, but made it, read a lot online, as it iw not so easy to keep citrus plants inside in the north of the Alps during the winter, repotted it, took all the welted leafs off except of the three healthy ones, also the lemons, broke my heart and no new leafs are there yet, but I was so happy, that the first blossoms are showing up and that my efforts made sense.

Call mme stupid or silly, I simply don’t care and in some weeks, I will find a nice place outside, where this little lemon tree can spend the sumer, strengthening and then it was worth, not givin’ in.

Go, Limonetto, go.

You can do it, I am sure, always by your side and proud of you.
