We learnt our lesson in the twenties, when the German Central Bank was not so much indipendent, the German government had to start the money printing presses, an galopping inflation as, a result, banks closed, people not being able anymore to withdraw their money for a certain time, workers had to run with a rucksack full billions printed on worthless bills, when received their salaries in cash to be able to buy a loaf of bread and the savings of the working population was burnt and melted away like an iceberg nowadays, richer ones not having been affected as much, if they had real estate, gold or their wealth also abbroad.
Therefore, the Bundesbank and the EZB nowadays are independent from governenments, kepping inflation on a resonable level, making the Deutsche Mark and the Euro to stable and reliable currencies worldwide.
Therefore, please do not give in caring about one of your main objectives, keeping the inflation at an acceptable level for the US population as well as for all of us around the globe, not risiking, that the Dollar might be replaced due to loosing its worldwide, predominant position as, worldwide recognized currency for trade being replaced by a more stable, more reliable and trusted currency with less financial risks.
